Current fees and charges (subject to change) as of February 1, 2023:
- New Customer Cut-on/Transfer fee: $75.00
- Non-pay Reconnect fee: $75.00 (plus outstanding balance)
- If reconnection is requested after business hours, an additional $50.00 surcharge will be added to the account.
- Customer Deposit (refundable net of final bill; required if no proof of ownership): As of 4/24/2023 CNNGA partners with Online Utility Exchange to verify identity and Deposit level. Online Utility Exchange performs a "soft" credit check, which does not impact your credit score, with other partner utilities and Experian. Ranges from $0 - $200.
- Late Fees (for payments not received in the office on or before the due date. Please note that CNNGA does not consider postmark date): 5% of outstanding bill amount
- Meter ERT Opt-out Charge (if you do not want an electronically-read meter at your location): $25.00 one-time fee & $10.00 per month added to the bill
- After Hours service (other than gas leaks): $90.00 per hour plus materials (1 hour minimum)
- If you call us out for a leak, there is no charge for labor, only any materials needed for the repair. If you ask us to do additional work, the after-hours rate will apply.
- NSF check/draft fee: $30.00
- 2 returned checks/drafts within a 12-month period will result in no checks being accepted for a year. Returned drafts due to a closed account will result in the account being removed from the draft program.
- Service call: $65.00 per hour minimum plus materials (1 hour minimum)
- New Installations of appliances:
- Labor is billed at $65.00 for one technician for the first hour with a 1-hour minimum. Additional labor will be charged in half-hour increments.
- Labor is billed at $120.00 per hour if the job requires two technicians (at CNNGA's discrection) with a 1-hour minimum. Additional labor will be charged in half-hour increments.
- After-hours installation may be subject to higher rates and is available upon request.
- Materials are an additional charge
- *Installation charges are not included the cost of the appliance.
- Since we cannot know what material or time will be needed, new installations are capped at $500.00 for the first appliance and $300.00 for the 2nd and each additional appliance*. You will be billed the lower of actual cost or the cap. As an example, if you have 2 appliances installed, the most you will pay is $800.00. The cap is reset in the event of future installations. Save money and have them installed at the same time.
- *Generators, fire pits, pool heaters, and any underground fuel line installation will be at time and materials with no cap. Estimates are available upon request.
- Commercial installations or installations for resale properties do not have a maximum cap and will be billed at time plus material.
- **CNNGA will do limited off-system piping and installations. All of these situations will be billed at time and materials, price caps will not apply. Estimates will be provided and acknowledged before work begins. Off-system travel may also be included.**
